Only way I know is if they are know files. Like wma, wav, etc... Is there a music folder? If so, what is the the extension of most of the files.

there is a sound folder but i dont think that is it i have found *.rws files that may be it or some *.aws files but most of the other files on nfs underground 2 dont seem large enough to be music files

I have managed to copy all 27 tracks from the game. The way is simple but it's kinda boring.
If you are using a music program like Cool Edit Pro, you can choose from the "Properties" menu to "record what you hear".
Start recording a new file from the program and then load NFS Underground2 and simply let it play all the songs you want to record. It's like recording a tape in a deck, remember? The old times.
When you are done with that, exit the game and enter the program. Stop the recording process and begin splitting the tracks. You can then save them as *.mp3
I hope i helped you out dude,

Yah, but I would never do that though. I know somebody who did that with timesplitters 2. A day later, i browsed the disk to find every track availabe in top quality.
