New DVD Error

I just encountered a new problem.... I burned Memorex 8X DVD-R, burned them at that speed, but when playing the movies there are parts where the picture and sound freeze for a while.

Any Ideas?

As well as +- formats Media brand is also an issue. Memorex is crap.

I don't really know if it makes a difference but I never burn faster than 4X even on 8X media. Have never had a problem even with Memorex media.

Will try to burn at a slower speed.

I agree with TD, Use better media.
