I´ve googled for it, and one of the results has shown that it´s the Messiah 2 Chip!? Could this be?

My Chip looks exactly like this one, only the numbers are a little different .. on my chip it shows: A54SX08A-F //// TQ100 //// 0341

Is this the Messiah Chip? Please help me! :mad:

Yeah, I know, but I´m not sure if it´s the same, because on the pic there are different numbers on the chip!! :confused:

They're just different batch codes - don't trouble yourself... :)

Are you kidding? You cant be for real!

The Actel chip set it used my MANY on the current chip manufactures. The Actel chip isnt "made" by messia or matrix, its made buy ACTEL which has nothing to do with the mod chip scene and is simply an IC chip manufacturer.

So if you go around simply looking for what chip you have by simply looking for any chip with the ACTEL chip set your not going to be able to narrow your search very well because like I said MANY mod chip manufacturers us this same chip set.

The Matrix MXL2 ( http://www.infinitymod.com/cgi-bin/matrix/site.pl?page=chip_mxl2) does look very similar to the Messiah 2 pro but there are major differences that one can spot with the naked eye.

The numbers on the ACTEL chip also mean nothing in regard to the chip you have as lufc has already stated they are simply ACTEL's way of keeping track of batches.

EDIT: Also the Messiah 2 pro has "Messiah 2" etched right on the PCB!

OH Thanx! Sorry, but i´m really a nooobie if it goes about Chips! :(

I thought, I can get out which chip it is with the ACTEL Chips Number!

This means I´ve got a faked chip, because theres no Logo or something on it?? Also not on the backside!

Hmm..but who cares? It works fine, just wanted to know which one it is!
