Need imput cant install Doom3 or Farcry

Hello all,

I can't install Doom3 or Farcry I get the same error every time...error 1639 check the sdk installer. I am running an AMD XP 2700+, 512ram, eVGA 6800, Ernermax 420psu. Motherboard is a GA7NNXP ultra, anyone have a clue.
