hmm not too happy with the riteks right now they have very high PI levels 1st burnt one has 100-200, updated my firmware and burnt another one 30-70 PI. i think i will go back to verbatim 10-20 PI

im moving back to verbatims, even though they are not as dark as the riteks, i get low PI and low errors with them

Riteks do have a darker dye than verbatims(not by that much) but the quality varys ive got 100(2 packs of 50 from diffrent stores) riteks now that are useless because they are a bad batch

I have some Ritek CDR which are a bad batch too - they are on their way back to SVP :)

You use a liteon don't you?

*looks at his sig*

Yes you do. There is your problem. My pioneer burns Ritek at .05 PI errors. PO are like 100 total, in the entire disc.

Hola, I'm kinda curoius.. How do you check the PI and PO levels? interested in testing it myself on my LG burner and the discs I use. (Mostly RItek G04)

you use kprobe but you can only scan with liteon drivers

ok, too bad that I don't have any access to any liteon dvd driver then...

Liteon drive is his problem? It wholly depends on which model he is using, but I have a Liteon 832S Dual Layer burner (Fw VS0B) and my PI/PO error rates are just like yours...
