i dont know where else to ask this so i'll try here. im trying to install my geforce fx 5200 on my pc and heres the problem. i install the card, plug my monitor into the card (like ive done millions of times installing this) and power on my pc. now when i power on everything starts like it should but right after the windows xp screen comes up my monitor says "no signal" and turns off. i even tried disabling my on board graphic card first but still the same thing happens. so how can i get my graphic card working. im also new to XP and its the first time i tried installing my graphic card using XP, i never had this porblem with ME. any help is appreciated this is really aggrivating me.
thanks

ok try this:
Put ur old graphs card in
go on windows, add/remove programs and desinstall the drivers (THIS IS EXTREMLY IMPORTANT, if none are listed there (eg: interal graphs dont usually list them) Download the latest nvidia drivers and install them.
Shut down the pc and insert the graphs
Start, onto bios setup, and disable the onboard card if thats the case.
Start windows
Should all work now

Try updating your Motherboard (BIOS) could just maybe solve your problem

I had the exact same problem once before with the no video and 3 beeps. Turned out my Network card was bad. Try pulling everything out that you can. your sound, network, some ram. Then if that works put one thing back at a time and reboot between each item.
Also would have the 3 beeps if your motherboard is dual processor (1) socket 370 and (1) slot 1 and your jumpers are not set right for the CPU you have installed.
Maybe its a DirectX problem!?
