i found a forum that you can give your imei and they send you the unlocking code.what i need is (if possible)to download a calculator for sharp gx20 so i can put my imei and give me the unlocking code.don't want with cables etc

not all phones can be unlocked using a calculator.

imk trying to unlock my samsung mobile.... and i aint got a clue i got the lead tho from phone to serial port was wandering if any 1 knows how :P

Rite...

In general the only phones you can unlock via a code (calculator) are nokias.... All the rest either need a data cable (serial) or a special cable that you attach to one of the chips on the phone to get the code to unlock the phone...

Unlocking your phone will increase its value when you decide to sell it, I got £45 for a 3310!!

Anyways... I will do some research on indivual phones if you place the Make and model here.
