replacing dvd drive question

Hi everyone.
I´ll buy another Xbox but with a Samsung unit. May I replace my actual thompson drive with the Samsung without any modification? Is it just as simple as replacing the hd drive?

Im pretty sure its as simple as just swapping out drives.

You will need to unlock the HDD before you place it into the new XBox.
