can you unlocke a hard drive that dosin't match the motherboard

i now that you cannot use a hhd that dosint match your motherboard but what if your motherboard is modded and you want to but evox on teh hhd to unlocke it so you can use it.

but no.. u still cant play a modded hdd on a diff xbox then its been locked on

i tried to mod my xbox i struwed up and distroyed my mother board (now it frags). im going to buy i new xbox from a friend pre moded and i want to but my old hdd (cause i got a lot a saved games on it) inside the new pre moded box but i don't now if i could but it in then install evox and unlock it so it will work.

Any chance I can get a pic of the mod job? Maybe I can help you fix it.

And there is only one way, desolder the eeprom chips and put it in another xbox.; Unfortunately it is hard.

i can see where the brocken connection i tried to fix it im just not very good at sodering.
i could sent it off somewhere somewhere but its expensive.
