i live in the bahamas and came across only 1 store modding xbox for $99.00 dollars.i was surpose 2 find out the mod-chips name to see what all it can do by reading across the internet, anyway i have 007 the right name used for the exploit trick but no memory card.
do i need a memory card?
if so will the exploit thing work as if my xbox had a mod-chip and is it easy do do?

I wouldnt recommend software exploits for noobs. Gettin a modchip would be easier.

id actually say go for it with a newbie.. only problem is the exploits are highly faulted
itd be best to go with the xbit... a non solder chip that works on like 1.1-.5.. theres a reason i dont say the 1.0
can u solder at all by any chance?

you can save yourself 30 bucks by putting in the no-solder chip yourself.
Im not saying most local installers would rip you off, but many do. Alot of them assume you know nothing about modchips or the xbox. So, they will usually install a chip, flash your tsop, and then take the chip out. They will tell you that you cannot go on xbox live. Some charge extra for a mod switch, which is a couple wires soldered on the xbox mobo. If you say you don't want it because you won't go online, they take your eeprom and flash another banned one onto your xbox, then sell yours. All without telling you.
Again, not all local installers do that, in fact, most don't. However, just be warned as it DOES happen often.

yea wow good idea tho so all i would have 2 do is flash the tsop to play backups on a mates xbox but that can fuk up right?
