Halo everyone.
After much reading and doing epxeriments i managed to burn my first xbox game! With a very good tip from Zanna86 and the Sticky's Ultimate Newbie Guide in this forum I burned Rainbow Six 3.
Here is the way I burned it:
First read the Ultimate Newbie Guide to connect the xbox with your Pc via a crossover cable. (Tip: Shutdown Zonealarm or other firewall to establish a connection)
Then you can use an ftp programm to copy alla the game files from your xbox. I personaly recomend the XboxRipper.
Then you must patch all the .xbe files of the game which you have ftp. For the patching I used Qwix programm. Go to the tools section of Qwix and patch all the .xbe files.
Then use Nero 6. Make a no multisession UDF/ISO dvd and don't forget to check a field which says compatibility with Xbox in the UDF section of UDF/ISO.
Burn this in a low speed (1x or 2x) and hopefully this will work.
Recomendation: Use a dvd-rw to avoid throwing dvd-r in any case of failure.
Good Luck!

Hi riakos33, just wondering where you found the setting in nero 6 to make a no multisession udf/iso dvd. I can only find cd rom udf/iso and can't locate the field that says compatibility with xbox. I am using nero startsmart 6.
Please help. Thanks.

Ok here is the deal.
Open Nero 6. At the top left choose dvd (by default is CD). Then on the left you should have a list of the following: DVD-ROM(ISO), DVD COPY, DVD-Video...DVD-ROM(UDF/ISO). Choose the DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO). Click no multisession and then click New on the right. Move all the folders of the game after patcing the .xbe files with Qwix. Then click Burn the current compilation like you do when trying to burn an ordinary cd-rom. Then the burning menou appears. At the top you have info, multisession, iso, udf, label,...
Click udf. Then must appear a checkbox which says 'Force dvd video combatibility mode (required for Xbox TM)'. Check it.
Then go to the burn options and choose a recorder speed 1x or 2x. Then burn it.
You can also name the udf\iso image with the name of the game you trying to burn.
Try it fist with a rewritable disc. Just in case of a failure.
If you have any other question just post it to me.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. I must have a different version of nero because your settings are completely different to mine. When I select the dvd option I only get a choice to make a Data disk, Audio disk, Photo and Video or 1 to 1 disk copy. In the last option I have the option to copy from an iso image which I have selected but I don't get the option to make a dvd udf/iso only cd. Anyway, I'll keep trying and see what I can come up with. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Listen sevi,
don't open Nero startsmart. You should open the Nero 6 Ultra Edition/Nero Burning Rom. You should find it easily from the programms menu. I thing thats yor problem. If you have Nero Burning Rom follow my previous reply.

Hi riakos33. I finally got my hands on a version of Nerp 6 ultra edition. I followed your steps and made my first successful backup today, although some parts of the game were a bit jumpy. I think it is the media I used as I didn't want to waste a good quality dvd for nothing. I realise now that the version of nero that I had was just an oem version that came with my burner and only had nero start smart. Thanks for taking the time to reply and for all your help.
See ya.
