I know this isn't quite directly PS2 related but it is relavant to some I'm sure

I have A new TDK 440N dual format Burner which is great and is shipped with a Special Edition of Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD v7.

If you try and run Nero 6.0 for backing up your PS2 discs you'll have problems as there is a driver fault which makes Nero fail it's burn on it's finalising process - uninstall both, clean your registry out of everything related to pinnacle & re-install Nero & all should be fine and if in doubt use a RW disc not those GO4's you've been saving!

Looking for a patch I found there is a new version (8.0) of Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD which might have fixed this problem.

Just a word from someone who took all day and night to find out why his CD's worked but his DVD's didn't & don't GO4 discs make pretty ash trays when you melt them just right !!!

I just wanted to add that 8.0 did not fix this problem. I had a simular experience and had to take my pick of which software I wanted to keep (Roxio6) and delete the other. I deleted Pinnacle and all is good now. Pinnacle sux in my experiences.

If you’re speaking of Ritek G04's I will have to strongly disagree with you.

I agree. GO4's have been very good media to me. The best so far actually.

Just about every member here has used GO3 or GO4. I myself use GO4 and it works great.
