Hey guys,
I was just wondering if it's possible to play backed-up versions (dvd-r) of movies on a modded PS2? I have a V7 and am going to get a Magic V once I can afford to get it installed. Just wwondering if movies can be played? Thanks.

If you like to watch a lot of dvd-r movies , i would buy a seperate dvd player so you dont wear out the ps2 laser.

Yep, this and the use of cheap media will send the PS2 laser to a early grave :).
You know you can buy a dvd player cheaper than you can replace most PS2 lasers
