I tried a few emulators such as DreamEmu and Dreamer (waste of time both of them, they don't do sh!t)

i also tried Nightmare but it runs only a specific kind of file which you can get only by using using a certain program on your Dreamcast cd... and the site for that program does no exist so it's also a waste of time ^^

I however heard new about an emulator called Chanka or something. Many are wondering if it's fake or real but I hope it's not, in on of the sample screenshots preview, there's my game running.

Well if anyone knows any otehr working dreamcast emulator, or know if there is an official site for chanka feel free to post it here.

I actually first heard of this Chanka thing last night while browsing the DC section at http://www.ngemu.com - but apparently its author already abandoned the project and went back to helping develop Icarus (itself doomed to be vaporware forever, it seems).
There just is no DC emu that plays commercial games. Not yet.

if it helps, DC's are only $20. or even cheaper. its better than a non-existant DC emulator.

give the programmers more time.

i think we get an emulator playing one game good
and some others partial in the next 12 month.

even , we donīt need them, butīs interesting
to see whatīs possible.

(I know this is a bit of topic...) But, it kind of reminds of me of 2002, when the guys (and dc gals :) )at the dc emulation boards were spitting fire back n' forth about emulating the N64 on the dreamcast....Apparantly, they came to the conclusion that it was physically impossible for the dc to emulate n64 hardware (something about lack of ram for audio processing, can't remember really).

OH well. It was a cool thought though, playing mario64 on dc :D
