will a standard pc hdd work straight away in an xbox or does it need to b converted in some way?

needs to be partitioned, which evox can do via ftp raw commands. All you do is pop it in your xbox and do the commands.

Works great! I only have one prob other than the non locking feature. I transfered everything over from my 80gig to this one. Everything loads fine, apps, emus, xgames, xbox games. The only thing that is ridiculously slow is my MAMEoX. I go to play MK2, and it takes over a minute to load. My 80gig, it zipps right through the loading!! under 5 seconds!! That's my only beef, the gameplay is still the same, it's just the loading of games, it's not just MK2 for MAMEoX, it's all my arcade games for MAMEoX. But other than that, this HDD is awesome! I told you I'd get it!! Muhahaa hahahaha!!!

Same here. I'm actually Downloading StarWars 4-6 WS Laserdisc, Xvid. That's going to be the first movie set to be put on my XBOX. I hope they come out with a way to rip a complete DVD onto the XBOX HDD and watch it from there. :mad:

I apologize for typing that. I had no chance to delete that cause my system crashed not to long after. I've also been having internet problems. Of course theres no excuse for what happend. If you ban me again, I'll stay away from this forum. What I typed was a complete mistake, and I deeply apologize if I've hurt this forum in any way. Believe me, I didnt want to ban you. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Its just that if I didnt other people would get the wrong picture and call foul.
