just wondering if there is software or a way to tell if my bios is ok i don't want to mess up my chip if my bios is damaged in anyway?

Well you can use XBtool and thatll basically tell you if alls ok. But if your trying to figure out if the latest X2 bios is good then youll just have to wait till the next version of XBtool comes along that has info on it.

Just noticed that the latest XBtool has been released yesterday (XBtool_Installer_1.0.14) with support for the new X2 4981 bios.
