Hi everyone, it looks like my fan is busted, it is a new unit so I assume the thing is just unplugged. I tried opening the thing up and the internals just intimidated the hell out of me. I am afraid to break the darn thing. Can anyone suggested a knowledgeble shop or person who could repair the fan locally to the Los Angeles/Torrance area of Southern California. The few shops I have gone to will not work on the unit since the seal is broken... bummer!

Ok, i grew some nads and took it part to check the connection (which wasn't difficult at all). when i lifted the powersupply off i noticed that the fan wires were touching one of the metal connectors that connect the powersupply to the bottom side of the main board. The wires were shielded but it does get hot in there... do you think it fried the wires? I inspected the connection and everything looks good. I removed the fan an visually it looks fine. Any ideas?

I think there was a way you could test your fan with a battery but lemme double check on that first.
