View Full Version : DJ: buffer underrun IMMEDIATELY after hittin start

ok, finally got good .cdi image (thanx big papa), was ready to burn, follow'd papa's instructions in one of his posts, but, i got a buffer under run immediately after i clicked start. said writing track one, blah blah...buffer under run

i have a creative cdrw4224e which i am almost positive dj supports.

ps: burning TXR2, if that matters

let me guess, you are using and IDE drive and are trying to copy on the fly.

if you have an IDE burner always close all open programs, and write to a temp image on your hard drive first.

IDE drives almost always get buffer underruns when copying on the fly.

Unfortunately the problem is your burner. It is supported by DJ but won't burn the CDI image successfully. I have the same burner. I've seen other post of other people with the same problems here. I use a different burner and everything goes fine. Only once did I have to increase the size of the cache in DJ to burn at 10x with a sony drive. Creative has been a great burner for me but not in this case.
