Help : Different File Sizes

I have a file(734MB) that I would like to put on DVDR but when it gets ready to burn it states that I must insert a CDR. I know if I do this the it won't work. A friend of mine said to create a dummy file.

How would I go about creating a dummy file and attaching it to the file and burning it?

It probably will work. The file contains additional packing information that is removed when unpacked back to CD-R.

I just finished and, like I thought it would, it didn't work. Could you tell me how I would go about the process I stated earlier?

what i would do is go back and just burn ur original , if cd to cd and if dvd to dvd , look in the backup factoids at top of forum that will tell u all u need to know on how to burn ur original
