Hi

i ordered a new XBOX machine and i wonder if it would be wize to order the mode chip now, becuase i'm afraid that M$ might have updated the XBOX version os something like that...

so is it wize to order it now ?

where and what mode chip should i get (I'm from Canada).
from what i read here the X2 Pro is the best way to go... is it ?

You don't have to worry about Mr Gates right now. You can mod any XBox.

And I would order the Xecuter2.3 Lite over Xecuter2.3 Pro, unless you need the other goodies.

Modchips.ca (http://www.modchips.ca) are based in Canada. But I think they are WAY over priced. It would be easier and cheaper to order a chip from the USA.

Two great dealers I've delt with are:

The X2 Pro can be programmed with the PC with out the use of a programmer, plus it has four 256k banks of flushable memory vs the Lite’s two banks of 512k memory.

what do you mean without the use of a programer ?

in order to put a BIOS on the Lite i'll have to buy something to load it on it ? ??

The X2 Lites come pre-flashed with the Cornwall BIOS, that is what you use to reflash the chip.
Or you can buy a programmer.
