im thinking of buying the dms3 version 2 and i found out it has sleep mode to be able to play online games, and i just wondered if i needed some kind of switch to solder on or is it automatic?

no switch needed
its turned off or to diff modes depending how u turn on the ps2

ahh ok thanks.... does the chip come instructions to make it go into different modes & to turn it off????
