Swat Backup and other stuff

I backed up my copy of SWAT and after it gets past the initial animation before the start screen...It goes back to the Evox screen. i have an older apple 3 and i tried it on a newer box with apple 3 and voila....works fine....could someone pm me with instructions. I have a feeling what I need to do...but I think it is better left off the boards..

I’m not very familiar with this chip. I tried looking it up on the internet and couldn’t really find any info on it. Do you know if the BIOS can be upgraded via EvoX?

I believe this game has to be patched or you have to be running the new BIOS.

Actually I screwed up...The chip that I have is the Enigmah...I just had two apple x3 installed and you can boot via power button...orange logo for backups....they work great....I did patch it with craxtion....I can get it to boot on the apple but not my enigmah's....I can upgrade bios via evox....but I know nothing about it...I will have to do some research...thanx

I know the Enigmah can not be upgrade to a new BIOS.
I dont know why a patched game wouldnt work on it. It should...

I would suggest getting a newer chip.

Ahhh.....then that's it then.....weird....Yeah...I have been thinking about getting the newer one......Thanx for your advice.......Not sure why it boots in apple but not in enigmah......I have setup a new computer with a couple of 106's in it.....and I tried burning a game via the network....basically I have a new computer with 360 gigs and I am using that as my storage and I burned from the other computer....But I did that with everything else also.....

i had 1 of the first generation chips which had none bios flash.

some new games would not boot up , even if it was patched , but played fine on m8's box with latest 2nd generation chips and latest bios's.

so i sold my v1 xbox with chip and got another v1 virgin unmoded box, stuck X-BIT in it with 120 gig HDD, can play all backups .
but with my huge HDD , i just install all my games into the box and play from there.
