How do i copy games to the hard drive and load em there?
i got xecuter 2.2 pro with 4977 bios and evo x

Yeah ive been doing the back and fourth ftp thing but i want to do it from xbox only.
Ive tried using box explorer but all it lets me do is highlight the files.

wow this is weird i just finished replying to another post and i told him to do what axmichigan told u to do with ur type of problem. i use boxplorer and hasnt failed me yet. i asked my installer if i coud install games on my xbox straight from the disc drive to the hardrive and he said that no ...but boy was he wrong...hehe ever sinse then i have been using this method for all of my games. and it really comes in handy for those games that are over 4.37gb.

remember l and r are different modes
use one for the dvd
the other for the destination
goto the dvd
click all
copy
u should be good

it also depends on what version of boxplorer you have. the eariler ones didn;t have file transferring ability. it wasn;t until the release of the .96 beta that you could transfer stuff to your box
Why not use HDDloader?
This will transfer a game to your HD with one click of a button.
It also patches on the fly and V1.2 deals with the long file name problems of some of the newer games.

Sweet tnx for all your help guys. Ive managed from becommin a complete noob to knowing how to use this thing. I must say the xbox homebrew scene is awesome
I am using FlashFXP - I can copy the entire game directory onto my Xbox's HD - but then in evo how do I launch it?
hAD the wrong setting in my evol.ini file

start up evox go to apps launch dvd2 xbox and hit your a button choose the save location and hit start no pc needed and it'll even remove the media check and let you browse the hd
