Currently making backup copy of NBA live 2003. Copied over files onto PC through Flashfxp put files through XISO burnt onto dvd+RW with record now. Put dvd into xbox and waala NOT!! bloody thing wont read it at all!! Evox comes up with no disc in write hand side . When I try to read dvd through flashfxp it says that there is nothing on the dvd when there is HELP!!!!
Don't use xISO it blows. Use Dude's data burn method (http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46560) to burn games.

glad to see rms has once again diverted an "urgent" crisis and saved the day
Nope sorry already tried that data burn method first, I didnt hold much hope out 4 it neway as everything i have read has said it has to b turned into a udf format. I also used craxtion and isomaker 1.21 burnt with both nero and record now!!All with same outcome.
Specs are:
xecuter 2.2 pro
Bios 4977
Evox dash 1.8.3752

yippie, the problem has been soled. XISO is a terrible program. Who the hell uses it anyway? Craxtion was so much better xbox tool
What about your burner it self? Will it burn other DVDs fine?
The burner is reliable enuff . It is a sony dru 510A , burns all types of dvds. Copied the evox iso onto both cdrw and dvd+rw through the burner. Cdrw worked fine , wouldnt read the TDK DVD + rw though...piece of crap!!
@devlyn.
i have personally created over 300 backups using the data burn method and lost only 3 discs in all that time and i manually patch each game using iso craxtion. as i don't use the media check bypass bios's
i believe you'r problem is that you are burning to dvd+rw. i have a dvd+rw drive and it bites big time. every xbox i have had ( and i have had 12 so far) has hated +rw and very rarley boots games / movies from these discs.
i strongley sugest you get a dvd-r drive as it is far more compatible with all hardware. ie xbox / ps2 / home dvd players etc. i also recomend you use record now max 4.50 to burn the disc using the data burn method. i know i'm biast but i have had over 100 failures using iso programmes and i would not waste another single disc on that stupid method.
that's the facts as i see them.
p.s you don't have to piss around with udf settings etc with rmn just follow the guide and it WILL WORK with dvd-r.
