I recently purchased a Ps2 Japanese Import game, Sakura Taisen. I have a Amercian v.4 Ps2. I tried using the slide card and swap magic cds to try to boot the game, but it doesn't work (apparently, because the sakura taisen cd is a dual whatever dvd which hold 8 gb of stuff or something, but the swap magic cds has a capacity of only 4 gb).

I need a cheap alternative to boot up this original game. Any one have any solutions?

I can't afford a Messiah 2 modchip and definitely can't afford to have someone install it for me, and I don't want to install it myself cause I know it's complicated. x_x

Would a Neo Key (Sbox) plus a Gameshark 2 be able to boot up a original import game?

Let me know. thanks.:D

I don't think sbox supports dvd9. You can get an Apple Pro for $20, but then it would have to be installed. Where do you live? There might be someone local who can do it.

Hi. YOu're right, S-box cannot play original import games. What is this Apple pro you mention? it looks the same as a Messiah 2. I live in San Francisco, CA in the U.S.
Know any store around here that installs modchips for a fair price? Numbthumb.net is a place i know of around here that does it, but they freakin charge $170's to do it .

The Apple Pro is basically a Messiah 2 at half the price. http://www.psx-tech.com/index2.htm is in San Francisco. $60 for installation.
