DOAX Patch Keeps Freezing Up

I can apply the stars and hearts patch to the original XBE and that works fine but after I Patch the datadvd.afs it goes all the way until it says LOADING anf then freezes or sometimes freezes at the first screen where you pick Exibition.

Can anyone help??
