Hi,

I unintentionally installed xbox live on my dashboard and removed it per the xbox live removal faq on xbox-scene.

I then re-installed all my files from my original c: drive backup on my computer. However, I didn't have one of the files it said to re-install, something called 'jkeyboard.xip'. (I have another similar file called keyboard.xip, though)

Am I correct that this file 'jkeyboard.xip' is not contained on the original c drive of a retail xbox unit?? (that is, one that has not been upgraded to LIVE)

Just trying to figure out where this file comes from and whether I'm missing anything useful (like future keyboard support) since I don't seem to have it...

Thank you

Bruce

Hmm, I wounder if the keyboard would work in PSO still, if the xbox didn't have that file.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too... I checked my original hard drive (the one that came with my xbox before I upgraded to a 120 gig drive).

Don't know if it's my system (I bought like one of the first xboxes available in USA), but it doesn't have that jkeyboard.xip file for some reason (just has the the keyboard.xip file).

But Dude has the file on his original system, so I don't know what's up with mine....
