my xbox is modded with a executer lite 2.0 and was just wondering if i can play divx movies on it. i have 3 seasons of a cartoon show and i would hate to encode each one to svcd, which would then take up more space on a disc. as for me i would rather put season 1,2, and 3 on a dvd-r and watch them all.....is this possible?

Yes you can with an app called "XBMP" (Xbox Media Player). You can out it on your HDD or cd/dvd and play divx, wma, mpg, etc... It supports many different types. however, I cannot tell you where to get it do to legality.

Here's the official site -->XBMP (http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/newweb/news_latest.php)
It has a list of what it can play. The newest divx addition would be divX 5.03.

the front page shows an update, which included 5.03. I'm pretty sure it can play the older divX movies, as I used to play divX before that release.

Either or. It really doesn't matter. However, you might want to edit the cinfiguration (config.xml) before you burn.
