i tryed backin up the game but it come's on but won't go onto the game to play it.

p 105 dvd-wr
burn 1x

what is going on?

Have you backed up other games successfully with this method?

Basically, we need to know if this is your first attempt. Also, what media are you using, what program are you using, and what chip do you have?

i have backed up all my game the same way?

Zero Defenx dvd-r 1x
record now max 4.50

don't know the chip but its a swap disc(1 for dvds_1 for cd based games)

Sounds like we can add this game to the list of games that the Swap Magic doesn't boot! Get a decent mod chip if you can afford it like Messiah 2 - No Swapping no fuss. If all your other games work fine then it can't be your media but try some Ritek / Traxdata as they really are the superior media - they are briliant. If anyone else could shed some light on this, it would be great!

I've been playing it for a couple of days on my ver7 no solder/swap magic and it's been playing fine.

Might simply be a bad burn or something.

how much is the messiah 2 chip?

yeah i would be interested in how much the messiah 2 chip is and where is the best place to get one... (i think that may be against the rules)

There are some members that can hook you up with one - just not in thread. You'll probably be messaged. :)

As for the swap chip... different revisions of it on different revisions of PS2 have more/less better/worse luck. In all, it pretty much just sucks.

Get a Messiah2, or an Apple (half the money, most of the goodness). Avoid Magic at all costs.

The Messiah 2 is about $58 dollars (us funds).......

Plus the install, which can cost about 60-70 dollars.....
