i havee aa bigg problem, i installed the magic chip 3.0 in my psx2 v4, ands workss perfectly!! mm... 2 months letter works ok with ps1 games original and backups<---(dificulty,forced) but for boot oginal games for ps2 i need to press the reset 3 second and this it not a ps1 one game!!! and now this %&* don't boot ps2 backup games :(, i open my ps2 to see what happend an all is correctly solded, what is a problem? i need to clean my lead laser or calibrate? ahhh one more thing, in this part the animation are stop for what? see the pic!!!

Start with the easiest option first. Try cleaning your laser with a laser cleaning disc. The ones with little brushes on them.

After that, the thought is perhaps your laser is shot, or out of calibration at least. It happens with v4's. :(

But clean it before you get all excited.
