View Full Version : Audio burning problems!
I have downloaded a full CD.
My problem is, when i decoded all tracks from mp3 to wav, Itīs 778 MB.
How do i squeese 778 MB in to a cd-r record?
The original CD is on 1 disc not 2.
What shall i use to burn? clone cd, cdr win, nero????????????????
Why have you changed the format to wav?
You should use a prog like Nero which will burn mp3 files directly to a cd "on the fly"
It's my understanding that cd audio files are not .wav but .cdda
You can use many little progs to burn your mp3.
try this one (no idea what it's like, though!)

Yeap.....audio cds are in .cda format....i say in binary code. This makes .cda format to oversize cds.Wav is equivalent but don't worry when burning more than 700 mb onto a cd.This is due to audio cd-r is mastered in iso mode 2.This mode allows to write more mb than iso mode 1 ("all" the games are mastered in this mode) because it writes with errors on the cd.In the other hand....74 min is not equal to 650 mb and so on.It depends on the mode and what are you burning (audio,divx...etc)
Try to use nero while burning your audio cd(on wav....it converts to cda...just make an audio cd)
PD: I have a lot of divx 80' cds with 804 mb on it (iso mode 2)
Good luck!
