Problems with SCHIZM

Who knows how to copy the Schizm CD ?
After I made a copy, it's giving me a file error when I try to install the game.
Think it goes wrong when the files are like
schizm_cd_version_testing.whatiswrong

so the extension is more then 3 characters. Don't know if thats causing a problem.

I managed to installed it with SUBST, but now it's asking to put
CD -N into it.
found out that -n needs to be 1, so I'm stuck.
any ideas?
