Xbox Paper weight???

I just installed a x2 lite mod on a buddies v1.0 xbox. nice clean sodder job, actually better than i did on my own.

but when i boot it up on the led i get a solid green, then for green & red blinking with nothing showing on the tv.

question is do i have my buddies xbox fubared or is this fixable.
any help here folks since it's not my xbox i feel like an ass.

take out the modchip. If the xbox still works, then it is fine. It ussually blinks green and red when
1. The solder points aren't completely connect
2. A defective chip.
It could alse be that the chip is touching the Mobo. I heard that this was a problem. Just seperate it with electrical tape.

I suggest you take the chip out (then see if the xbox still works) and resolder it. If it doesn't work the second time, recheck all points. If nothing appears to be wrong, the chip is probably defective and needs to be replaces.

i'm assuming mobo means mother board. if so then it's definatly not touching and it's not the soder points either, very clean job.

uhh yea
same sh*t happened to me and some other guy with the red and green flashing
if u check xbox-scene, they say that that means its a bad chip/bad image... me and the other dude sent it back to the manufacturer for a change of chips... i suggest u do the same

yeah, i'm 99.99% sure it's the mod, cuz i pulled the jumper off and it booted up fine.
