uhh yea
1) if u ftp to an xbox... does it only needa be on.. or do u needa do somethin with it
2)if u ftp pc to pc can u just hook up the crossover cable to the other pc and use only one ftp client on one comp? or do u need one open in both..?

1.it has to be on and the A/V cable has to be plugged into it for some reason but not necessarily a monitor or TV on the other end

2.the FTP client manages connections not number of PCs - hence 2 PCs together need 1 connection so 1 client (Xbox is a specialized PC so same thing)

You can load evolutionX off of a cd. It doesn't have to be set as the HDD. IF you don't want to do that, you can set up the evolutionX dashbaord without a PC by using boXplorer.

Only 1 PC needs to be the client.
