How can I know if a drive NOT LISTED ON CLONE-CD SITE support:
Drive writes regular bit patterns correctly, Raw-Daw, Raw+ 96 etc...
Is there any way I can find this information about newer drives?

I have a LIte-on LTR-12102B that support it, but is now mailfunction and I'll probably have to replace it.

if im not mistaken, all drives write regular bit patterns correctly. however, since im sure thats not what you meant, lite on's still do everything you want them to.

podunkviller,
Thanks for your reply.
As written in Clone-CD site only few CDRs does support this option.

I guess, as you wrote, that Lite-On is the best bet.

Thanks to all.

Found very interesting info about the EFM question in Alcohol 120 site:

Correct EFM - CDRs (http://forum.alcohol-software.com/efm.htm)

Lite-On seems to be the best bet.
It also get very good reviews at CD-Freaks.

Thanks,

I have had about 20 CD burners, and i must say that Sony, and Plextor make the best writers and the also do all the write modes you can think of. I have had a lot of disapointments from burners but never from thoes two.
