dose clones of magic and messiah2 work as good as the origanls cause i seen a magic 3 chip clone for 30$ thats like 40$ cheaper then magic 3.1 i just need a chip that will boot copies with no probs and 2nd whats the cheapest any u guys seen the messiah2 chip for or a real magic 3 chip could u leave some links thnx.

You usualy get what you pay for with mods. This is why the messiah 2 is about $20 more than the magic 3. If you are looking to save some money while still getting a reliable chip, go with the Apple. It is about the same cost as the magic 3 but much more reliable. You can get it for $35 at www.modchip-sbox.com. I got mine from there and love it. It boots every game I throw at it.

Yeah, the Apple seems like more and more of a viable choice everyday.

I've installed 2 so-called "messiah 2" clones. They worked ok with high quality media. But I've heard they have issue booting DVD9 games. I don't think the messiah 2 clones are really clones of the messiah 2 to begin with. (say that 10 time fast)

How in the world would these people sell the Magic 3.1 for $70 dollars......ESPECIALLY when you can buy a Messiah 2 for $58.00...

My opinion: You are going to have to open the PS2 for ANY of the no swap chips, you might as well spend the extra money and get a Messiah 2.....

Most of the time, a clone will sacrifice Quality & Dependability... To me, its not worth the risk..... (Not for 20 extra bucks anyway)...
