i have had an xecuter chip installed i have tried to load six backup games when i start the x box up it goes from the set up screen to the x-box logo then it tells me it cannot read the disc or wrong region disc it will play originals and dvd movies i got my chip from www.playstationchips.co.uk -i was wondering is it maybe the two points for installing a switch as this came pre-soldered or do i need to put a switch between the two solder points as i feel its as if there is no chip installed please help a man from going grey overnight or would someone look at the diagrams as the elec-technician installed it from the drawings on there site-please help go on go on go on go on go on oh u will

If your xbox boots up, then you chip is fine. The problem is a bad burn. Put the game backup into your PC's dvd-rom. If it reads the dvd and you can browse the files on it, then it won't work in xbox. Look for burning tutorials to get the correct settings.
Also, If I were you, I'd put a switch on your x-ecutor. No, it doesn't need one, but as soon as you try to go on xbox live with the chip on, you will be banned, PERMANATELY.

what will they ban? Won't allow you to get connect or won't play backup games or can't turn on xbox?

They ban you from using xbox live. You would never be able to go online xbox live with that xbox, you'd have to get a new one.
Nevermind, there hasn't been a way to unban the xbox. The people said they successfully change the MAC and Serial, but those have nothing to do with XBL.
