I have just bought a DVD Copier, and now want to get a modchip for my PS2 to play my backup PS2 games. Somone suggested the Magic3 was a good chip to get, but it looks quite hard to install.
Please can someone suggest a reasonable easy chip to install that still boots without the need to swap disks, and where I can purchase it from.
Any help is much appreciated.
NO SUCH THING.....
If you want no swap...... Its going to take alot of soldering (23-24 wires)
GET THE MESSIAH 2!!!
Contact Charlie_PS2 or Dust2Dust about purchasing a Messiah 2.
They may also be able to set you up with someone that could do the install for you....

The plug-in mods are not entirely bad, BUT you still have to have a Gameshark/AR2 and you still have to SWAP.....:(
