View Full Version : ps-x-change2
i'm new to this forum but i have read and read and i can't find any info on a boot disc called ps-x-change2. i have read where some people swear it works great so went and bought one. but now, no matter what i do i can't seem to get the thing to allow me to play my backup discs. these truly are backup game discs(my 7 yo son broke an original and so i decided i needed to start backing up our games.) i have burnt copies with cdrwin and nero and the psone doesn't recognise them. i put in the boot disc, it boots up to a screen that tells me to insert the game disc and press start...i do and the disc spins around but nothing happens...what now?? does any body have any ideas? i would really like to solve this mystery. thanks in advance for any input.
there are some games the psx change will not boot no matter what but because u have not got any to work i think u r burning them wrong!!
go to www.psxcopyworld.co.uk for the tutorials on how to get it right!!

Sounds like a bad boot disk, I'd ex-change it, contact the company you bought it from or contact PS-X-change and get a new one.
What games are you trying to backup?? what burner do you have?, you may need to use clone cd with a compatable burner to make the backups.

my suggestion would be to download a psx emulator for your computer, that way, if the games work on it, its your bootdisk thats bad. and if they dont work on your psx, or your emulator, then the disks were either burned wrong, or u used cheap, or non campatible cdr's. I use TDK cdr's and Imation cdr's
and the emulator yur gonna want to get is called epsxe, just look around for it, you'll find it
have you got the screw/adhesive thing that came with the boot disk installed properly?
try downloading import player 2.0 & burn it to a cdr.
boot using psxchange, then put in the import player cd & try booting the game from there instead, that worked for a couple of games for me.
