Anyone know if Echelon/Kalisto USA releases work on PAL DCs??

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the USA releases such as Sonic 2 work on PAL dcs without using a boot-disk, patch, or mod chip??

I was curious because when I open many of the ip.bin files on USA releases, they are already set for all regions USA/JAP/Europe.

As long as I see that, will it play correctly on any DC (both PAL and NTSC) without patching, boot-disk, or modding required???

Most of the games work without any patch or boot disc on PAL DCs. Echelon make great release so that games don't need to be modified (most of the time). It's not the same with (for example) Hooligan's releases. Not only they often forget to set all countries but they also leave PAL protections and they hide files in their releases...

Yeah looking at the ip.bin file it looked like that ;o)
