Well, the DC backup FAQ suggests that removing the Echelon intro may fix sound/music issues, but it does absolutely nothing to fix the audio/video synchronization issues in DOA2LE.

Is there any way to patch or fix that problem in DOA2LE?? Or are we just stuck with it???

Thanks for any info

Is this some problem nobody is aware of, or has it been answered before... I searched the whole forums under doa2 and didn't find any answer to this

I had no problem with DOA2.
I remove Echelon's intro, but since I had no problem, it just loaded faster.

Maybe you could try to put your videos & sounds on the external part of your CD using a dummy file. I usually remove all dummy files from my backups, but it might help you. I recommand you use a CDDA instead of a file in the 2nd session.

Hi,

Yeah the game generally runs fine... I was just referring to the intro video at the very beginning (where Kasume is practicing her moves and Hayate interrupts her -- they both start fighting and talking, but at one point the lip synching is off and the screen freezes where Hayate should be talking) It doesn't happen during the main gameplay, though I'm not positive

And thanks for your recommendation about putting CDDA in track 2. However, I don't know how to do that... Just know how to put audio in track 1 and all the data in track 2 per Echelon self-boot process.

ANyways, thanks for responding!!

You're welcome.
I didn't meant to put the audio track in session 2, but to replace your dummy file in data session by a CDDA in first session. Just replace the little wav used in Echelon's method by a bigger blank wav file.
Doing this, your DC directly points to data session.
