do ps2 dvd games have protection so you cant copy them
do you need to patch them if they do have protection
how do you patch a dvd game
ive tried to back up 007 it works but it is really slow untill the game starts and today i backed up blood omen 2 and thats really slow untill you start the game and then seems fine
any help much appreciated thank

What kind of blank DVD-R's are you using?

007 was laser i think
blood omen was dvd-r from lik sang
all the other games ive done where with pioneer they all worked fine but the pioneer are to many $s

There are no protections on DVD-R copies, could be the type of disks used. I use Verbatim which are best for game backups. Also check that the copier has the lastest firmware.

ANSER by Charlie: DVD-R burning is, to some extent a crapshoot, depending on Primo|DVD engine version, Pioneerr A03 firmware version, DVD-R media fidelity, Burning speed (stick to 1x).
