Anyone have the External Modchip and burn DVD games to DVD-R's? Does it work OK? Is it just like booting up burned CD?
Thanks For your Help

The external modchip does not run DVD-R.
I would recommend the Messiah as it boots everything with the need for swap tricks.

Typing error.
I meant to say "without" the need for a modchip.

The message I'm trying to say is:-
The Messiah boots everthing without the need for any swap tricks.
is it better that the neo 2.2 for a version 1..?? Does it need a gameshark..?
thanks..

Really that sucks, Good thing I didn't go out and buy the Pioneer A03. Where can I get the messah? Is this chip the best to have for DVD-R and CDROM. Im happy with my external modchip for cdrom games, but I want to start burning dvd games.
Thanks Again, I wouldn't no where to start with out these boards.

Messiah is the best chip out now... however it does not support all model of PS2.
Messiah only supports some versions of the US v4. If you have a NTSC PS2 and are not compatable with messiah then the Novachip2 is the next best chip and supports all US consoles.
