I bought a couple of vcd's from the city and these work fine in my standalone sony dvd player. But whenever i try and back them up and try them out they don't work in the player but work in my pc. I have used cdrwin, cdclone, easy cd creator and still nothin. If anyone has been able to do this post up a response of how and what u did:confused:
I ALSO HAVE SONY DVP-N300 PLAYER. IT IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT THEY WILL NOT PLAY CD-R /CD-RW. I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO TRY DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEDIA. BEEN TOLD TO TRY MEMOREX CD-RW. I BOUGHT SOME CD-RW FROM STAPLES ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND I MANAGED TO GET IT TO WORK, BUT THEY HAVE NO BRAND. I WILL KEEP TRYING OTHERS SO LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND ANY THAT WORK. i HAVE BEEN TOLD THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE LASER AND DYE IN THE CD.

check and see if your dvd player supports cd-r's
