Hi,

Just got a DSL modem, so now I'm into MP3's. I've got a few albums and such, and would now like to know how I cut some of the songs out of an album and toss them onto a CD for playing. I know that if I wish to play them on a standard CD player that they can't be in MP3 format.

Can anyone tell me what the best program is, to allow me to cut, edit, and create a good MP3 or Wav CD for playing. I do plan on getting a car CD player that's MP3 compatible..

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, as I am coming up to speed in this arena.

Thanks all

hmmm - first of all you want to rip the songs on your cd's to ur hard drive. Many programs can do this. Personally I use Real Jukebox 2 (it's really really old, but does the job excellently). I don't think you can download this free one anymore.

You could try maybe Musicmatch (is that the correct name?). Anyway, goto www.downloads.com to look for good ripping programs.

Then for making the audio cd's I would recomment Nero - really easy stuff if you use the wizard.
