I'm have LOTS of problems (i.e. does'nt work) trying to get my copy of soul rever working.

What I had was downloaded an ISO. Now from what I know ISO files are no good for DC you must have multisession Mode2 XA discs.

I used CDMAGE to open the iso and xtract one sfd file to see if it was ok. it was and played on my PC with a viewer.

So i extracted the other files and tried to rebuild the disc. Now when I put the disc in the dremcast just goes to the CD player screen. Used mkiso fs to create the new ISO and used cdrhack (a hacked version of CDRECORD that records <300 sectors) to butn the multisession disc with

cdrhack -XA - multi soul.iso

I used the audio track from my original sonic adventure for the first track, and foud the gap to be 11702 sectors (just like in the tutorials infact).

HELP! ;-(((((((

You can burn ISO images with no problem, but your game will not be selfboot.

Try to use Bin2Boot on your ISO (it's easier than Echelon's tutorial, can save some space on your CD, and you might not need to extract and work on your files).

trying bin2boot, will let you know if it worked

.iso - > bin2boot -> .cdi ->cdi2nero (i need to burn with nero) = working selfbooting disc.

Thanks Megalexx for the info!
