help with pal

i bought a pal game "megaman battle and chase" and using a gold finger enhancher, tried to play on my spch-1001 psx. no dice, but i used a import player boot disk to try to convert to ntsc, again no dice, i tried patching, but doesnt work, because i have retail game, not backup. plz help, would a mod chip help?

I downloaded lots of PSX GAMES from edonkey2000 server but turned out to be that they are all PAL games and my playstation is NTSC .... had to look for Ways to convert it to NTSC...

the easiest way is to buy a MULTI SYSTEM TV (PAL/NTSC/SECAM)
and you can switch between systems upon game requirement.

the second Best way is to look for a patch for that PAL Game to convert it to NTSC...

here you will find all the available patches ..make sure that you look for a patch that says it an NTSC PAL Selector and it is for PAL version not NTSC version ..because they are different and you only have a PAL version....also some games have protection on them so try to look in the list for a PAL NTSC selector + Fix Protection Patch ...(ALso do not forget for your version only not NTSC version)...

the third Best way is to use a PAL<>NTSC Software Convertor...
like the PAL4U 2000 version 1.23 it works fine with many PSX games....you can download it from here ;

PAL4U 2000 , does not take the protection if the game has a Protection on it....to know whether your game has a protection check this link .......
