i have never made a backup of a psx game, and i tried to make a copy of spiderman2. when i click on copy cd and it reads and does it stuff, it says the cd is protected. so i stop it before i make a coster. so how do i use it? i also have other games i want to back up so i dont mess them up. will the copy protection be on all them and are they all the same ?

When backing up protected software it is normal for nero to recognize its protected. My advise to you is to go to www.megagames.com and find your way to the console game tutorials and read up on how to. I'm sure you must already know that the PS must be modified before you can use an imported game.

boysrus is correct when he says that it is normal for nero to recognize the game as protected. The read/write process will just continue as normal. Follow the instructions from megagames and you will not go wrong. If you have any problems with Nero then you can always try CloneCD for 1:1 copies.

the best programs to use for backing up psx games are cdrwin and clonecd(if hardware is 100% compatiable). you'll find step by step tutorials here:
