I am a newbie when it comes to backing up PS2 games. I want to copy my own games but I DO NOT have a DVD ROM drive nor want to buy one quite simply because I don't need one. I just wondered if it was possible to create working backups of PS2 DVD ROM games without a DVD drive. Any help would be fantastic.

I have a PAL PS2 and it HAS NOT been chipped. I would rather not chip it too (partly because I don't want to invalidate my waranty). I also have a PLEXTOR CD-RW 12X10X32 CD RE-WRITER.

If it isn't possible, does anybody know where there is a site where you can download PS2 game .ISO images or the files which have been extracted from the CD.

Thanks for all your help,
LUFCfan.:D

PS2 games that are on DVD need to be DVD Ripped to fit on A CD.
Guides and Tools for this can be found on
www.megagames.com and www.ps2ownz.com

Get an external mod chip I think there are plenty of USB chips available now try sites like www.modchips.com
Or follow links on www.ps2ownz.com

Downloading ISO's takes ages it's much faster to make your own rips.
