I wish I could help you. Basically the question for which nobody has confirmed the answer is will it work holding the RESET button down from first load of GS2/1.6 until you swap in the high TOC DVD game with GS2/?

The theory is that you boot with GS2/1.6 (dongle in). You want to playa game (1.9) without coded and boot GS2/1.9 in behind 1.6 and then carry out the published DVD-R swap procedure. But you would need to hold RESET throughout this phase because if you press it at any other time you reset the PS2.

So try it and let the forum know once and for all.
